O

This sword is an American handmade model, and a poor copy of the Starr saber that was discussed as Sword M. It has a brass knuckle-bow hilt with wood grips. The curved blade is not engraved and without markings. The scabbard is iron with two carrying rings and a round reinforced tip. Perhaps this sword should not be included in this collection. It is not well made and has no outstanding or unique characteristics. However, it is a good example of the willingness of patriots to do their best to serve their country. Obviously, this craftsman or blacksmith tried to copy the Starr saber which was made in a great factory. Generally, he did make a strong and useful weapon.
